where curious humans gather + grow

School of CoCo, our live event series focused on all things Life, Work and Community.

School of CoCo is a space for in-person learning and shared discovery—where knowledge flows through real conversations, local stories, and face-to-face connection. We bring together curious minds and kind humans to explore life, work, and community in ways that are grounded, inspiring, and deeply local.

After more than nine years of coworking, CoCo has seen firsthand the magic that happens when good humans work together. School of CoCo is our way of opening the doors even wider—inviting our community in for small, engaging events designed to explore the art of living well, working meaningfully, and building connected communities.

Each gathering is thoughtfully curated, not only in content but in experience. We collaborate with local makers, producers, and creatives across the Mornington Peninsula to create an atmosphere that feels nourishing and inspiring—from hand-stretched pizza and local wines to ambient candles that set the mood and scent for discovery.

At School of CoCo, learning isn’t just about taking in information—it’s about connection, curiosity, and the kind of shared moments that leave you buzzing with ideas and feeling more grounded in your life and work.

    The Future of Community

Join Futurist Simon Waller and Co.Co Place founder Stef Koster for a dynamic evening exploring the evolving landscape of community and how you can play a part in shaping it. This unique event will include a live recording of "The Future With Friends" podcast followed by an interactive deep dive into the art of future thinking lead by Simon.

    What to Expect:

    - Live Podcast Recording: Tune in as Simon and Stef unpack Stef's scenario on "The Future of Community".  In a thought provoking hour long discussion we will explore the trends, challenges, and opportunities that are redefining how we connect and belong both now and into the future.

    - Interactive Foresight Experience: After the podcast, the conversation shifts to you! We'll explore some of the tools and techniques futurists use to think their way though uncertainty to find better answers to some of our biggest challenges. Discover new ways of thinking about future, identify emerging challenges and opportunities earlier, and learn practical tools to become an active agent in shaping the future in your own life and work.

Although the focus is on community this is really an event for the curious. Whether you're a community leader, an innovator or simply looking for something more interesting to do on a Thursday than Netflix this is the event for you.

The School of CoCo experience - food, fun and networking before all the knowledge stuff. We flip it intentionally, as we highly value community and connecting in person. It's more curious and way more fun.

    What's Included:

    Pizza by 'Sunday Pizza'.

Drinks by ETCH Sparkling, Crittenden Wines and Two Bays Brewery.
